In North Cyprus, near Nicosia. All flights to Ercan come via Turkey, so you'll connect in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya or İzmir (Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AJet or SunExpress).

Please arrive a little early so we can start on time. Late May evenings are usually warm, so bring a light layer for later in the night.
Airports
Flying in
There are two good options. Ercan is closest to the venue; Larnaca has direct flights from the UK, Romania and Italy.
Larnaca
In the south of the island. Direct flights from London, Bucharest and several Italian cities. You'll cross into the north by car, usually at the Metehan (Agios Dometios) crossing in Nicosia. Your driver handles it; you just hand over your passports.
- Bring a valid passport for everyone in your group, including children.
- Fly in and out of the same airport if you can. It keeps border crossings simple.
- Book early. Late May is a busy time on the island.

A simple, relaxed hotel by the sea, just a few minutes along the coast from the venue.
Kyrenia harbour
Stay in town for restaurants, cafés and the old harbour. The Dome Hotel is a classic choice, with many boutique hotels nearby.
Airbnb and holiday rentals
Airbnbs are available all around the Kyrenia area. Please check the location carefully before booking: there is no public transport, so getting around can be difficult without a car.
Once you've booked, please tell us where you're staying (in the RSVP form below) so we can arrange your transport to the wedding.

Getting around
- Airport transfer: pre-book it. Taxis are available at Ercan, but from Larnaca book a North Cyprus company that does cross-border transfers, so you don't have to change cars at the border.
- Taxis on the island: pre-book too. Don't rely on ride-hailing apps, and taxis rarely pass by around Esentepe. Ask your hotel reception to book one for you.
- Car hire is easy to arrange if you'd like to explore. Cyprus drives on the left, like the UK.
- Can't book a taxi from either airport? Let us know and we'll try to arrange it for you.
On the wedding day
We are arranging transport to and from the venue for our guests. Please don't book your own taxi for the wedding. Book your hotel first, then tell us where you're staying and we'll organise your pick-up.
